These images are from the opening for Suspend.ed In Pink at Studio Gabi Green. I was so pleased to be a part of this traveling exhibition that included 50 different jewelers from around the world utilizing the color pink. It was curated by
Laura Bradshaw-Heap whom I finally had the opportunity to meet and was such a lovely person. The work was really varied and seemed to focus on new materials and techniques. Pieces were hung from the ceiling so the viewer could navigate all angles of the jewelry; It was nice to be able to see small works up close, as the gallery often creates an implied boundary between the viewer and the work.
