Fallmamal – Umsturz Erwünscht | Nine Jewelers at the Bowling Alley.
This exhibition took place in a one lane
bowling alley in the basement of Theresa Restaurant. It was still a functioning bowling alley so you had to take of your shoes to walk down the wooden lane to view the work. We absolutely loved this space. I hope it continues to be a Schmuck exhibition venue. We talked to a few of the artists involved and they had been to the restaurant last year during Schmuck and basically discovered the space that way. As the exhibition/event list keeps growing and growing each year, I feel like this type of thing is happening a lot. So many of the exhibitions take place in odd locations. What I realized is pretty much anyone can have an exhibition in Munich, you just have to have a connection or a place. Munich 2014?
